A planning notice has been put up in our village and it give the expiry date as 5th, August for " the statuary latest neighbour consultation date".
On checking the documents relating to planning request it shows an e-mail received on 7th August from someone in support of the plan, whilst all the others (with the exception of 2) received before the expiry date object to the plan.
I have written to the Planing Officer and he responded saying that all "late representations" received up to and including the evening of the planning meeting are circulated to members of the planning committee.
Surely this is not right, one would have thought if you are presented with an expiry date then once that has expired all other communications from "neighbours" should be disregarded.
