I'm rather surprised that my question on the Clerk's personal expenses has not been answered.

Well, it has now!

When this site was created, it was hoped that it would be a means for councillors to exchange knowledge and ideas.  It wasn't intended to be solely based on my opinions.  But it seems to have turned out that way, so replies rather depend on just how busy I am at the time :)
