Casual Vacancy six months prior to election

If a casual vacancy occurs six months prior to Parish elections does it need to be filled by co-option

If it is under 6 months until the Parish elections, there is no requirement to Co-opt.  You will need to get this confirmed in writing by the Electoral Services of your district / borough council though to wave at anyone complaining....
