Our Chair had previously resigned and it was generally known that the Vice-Chair did not want to move to the Chair.  What wasn't understood by a possible candidate for Vice-Chair was that the Vice-Chair did not wish to continue as Vice-Chair.  When that reality was presented at the AGM, it was a surprise to the possible candidate such that they did not want to declare interest directly due to domestic considerations.
Today that individual has let the Parish Clerk know of his wish, but the Clerk thinks that we will have to wait until May 2024 AGM.  Is there a way to proceed to that appointment  earlier/directly?
