A councillor has suggested that a 'Friends of .......' is set up to fund repairs to Council owned toilets as local businesses might feel more comfortable knowing where their donations are going ! Can anyone advise me on issues, concerns and legalities of the parish council supporting a 'Friends of group' please. I have a feeling it's not a good idea but would value your thoughts and advise please

This is becoming a more popular route. Take a look at the ‘My Community’ web site and you will find lots of useful information there.

I think everyone is relieved that business rates for Public Toilets have been finally dropped.
