Does the PC fund, produce or own’ the parish newsletter?

The ‘owner’ / producer gets to decide who is editor.
Is the Chair the editor?

It’s not unreasonable for a chair to produce a piece for a newsletter but if it is controversial or wildly at odds with what might be considered as the collective PC ‘position’ on any given topic then it might be wise to state that it is a personal opinion rather than a corporate one.
Is it a PC newsletter or a parish newsletter?

Is there a previous agreed procedure for compilation / editorial authority if a PC newsletter?

Can the chairman of the Parish Council dictate what editorial can be put in the parish newsletter?
