Parish Council Insurance costs - are multiple quotes sought or discounts requested ?

I'm just wondering how many PC's have requested a discount from their current  Parish Council Insurance broker as premiums have increased significantly this year  and if they have received one . Also is more than one sought on an annual basis or periodically ?

Best answer
Most insurers offer worthwhile discounts for a fixed price deal over three or sometimes five years. I always seek competitive quotes at renewal time and have changed provider on several occasions.
