Locality funding

Question

we used almost the whole of the Locality grant to fund our Draft Np, if it isn't made can they claw it back?

As far as I know the answer is no.

Generally, you can only apply for funds that will be spent in the annual funding period and any funds unspent at the end of that period has to be returned, but I don't see anything on the Locality website that infers that you have to repay due to a failure of the NDP.

Perhaps you need to talk to the funding manager to get a definitive answer.

Interesting question though.

Very unlikely you'll have to pay anything back. The funding would have come with terms and conditions specifying how it should be spent, but there is never a guarantee on the outcome of a referendum, so they must lose a few here and there.

What do you mean by locality grant? What is that? Does it go by any other name?
