You have how ever months until the next electoral process in your particular area in my opinion, and i completely agree with your question. It is frustrating to add that even with the revised Code of Conduct those that are persistent that they have a sole right to be Judge Advocate for all that is within their Domain are determined to continue regardless of recompense.

As a Chair with the support of a number of fellow Councillors I am in the process of referring a Councillor to the Monitoring Officer. It is very stressful and we are not optimistic no matter how justified we feel we are given the limited sanctions available.

What do you mean by "causing strife"? If their actions constitute a breach of the Code of Conduct, you should refer them to the Monitoring Officer.
