I've been to several meetings now and last night was rounded on when I voiced a complaint made by someone to me about an item in the village. The chair did nothing, possibly because I upset him earlier with a question I asked. It confirms what my wife thought of the whole thing at the outset (she's normally right, namely that they're stuck in their ways). I could just quit as it's an hour of my time, however I just completed a training course and, due to illness cannot work, so therefore have plenty of time on my hands and will continue. I kept my cool and will be back, the idea I proposed came from the sessions I mentioned and I'm not surprised at the MO being quoted as powerless, the ombudsman was when I complained about the District council, politics! A sham really, ah well it's something to do I suppose. You can choose your friends, as they say.
