Yes if they want to.  Otherwise you can keep the status quo until May 2021.

I thought that had to be done if front of the public and in person. Social distancing indoors Makes it an impossible and dare I say it a dangerous activity.
Not at the moment.  Legislation has been changed to allow virtual meetings (Zoom, Teams etc) to take place where the public can still attend and watch.
