My friend (the ex parish councillor) is thinking of going to the press.  Does she need to be cautious about what she tells them about pc business?

As an ex-Councillor, she is no longer under the Code of Conduct, but obviously she must be aware of the laws regarding defamation. She mustn't divulge anything discussed under closed session or anybody's personal information, but commenting on procedural matters is OK. As always, stick to the facts and you can't go far wrong.
