I was asked (its that time of year) whether a Chair of a Parish Council can be voted off during a Council year, and if so how?

It gets asked often: The very simple answer is no.

The chance to elect your chair and vice chair is the May meeting, all other methods: No confidence votes etc, have no legal standing (though obviously have a personal effect on the chair or vice chair).

Be careful who you vote for in the May annual meeting.
