I notice that there will be many unopposed new Parish and Town Councillors this coming May. What one valuable piece of advice can you offer to keep them motivated?

Understand Standing Orders. Know the Nolan Principles and keep in touch with your Ward residents (using what is available). Ask questions where necessary (and allowed). If that irritatees some other Councillors then it shows you are making "waves".
Put your name forward  to be on Committees if that is possible. Sign on to this CouncillorQ&A forum. Ask what training is available.
