Is there a timeframe set out in legislation for responding to emails/correspondence to Parish Councils?
As a small PC, with a clerk who works a couple of hours a week, it isn't always feasible to give a timely response to queries.

The only relevant timeframe is for FOI requests, for which 20 working days is the limit, so four weeks unless one or more bank holidays occur within that period. One way to manage expectations for email correspondence is to set up an auto-response that explains the working hours.
