Failure to declare paid employment

Question

What should happen to a Borough councillor who failed to declare his paid employment on his declaration of interests for the 2 years it was applicable?

To add this paid employment was with an organisation which was an official council partner providing contracts to the organisation. One of which came up for tender,  with the councillor based in a project that was awarded a contract in this process.
