What doe  everyone use for file sharing and backups, I have suggested Google Docs TIA

The size of your council clearly a factor because the cost of some of the storage solutions signficantly higher. We are a larger council so moved to Microsoft 365 and File Sharing side of that is underpinned by Sharepoint. Some of my councillors who are quite candid about their limitations IT wise preferred the familiarity of it to the Google offering. Neigbouring Council use "Zoho" which seems quite tidy as well.
