For this week’s meeting the clerk has add on the agenda To review the resolution item 125  full council 2 January 2024 what I would like to know is does the six month rule apply that is A resolution shall not be revised within six months etc

There are two ways in which a resolution can be revisited.  If there is a material change, for example if the item was a purchase or contract where the resolution indicated a particular price or budget, it might be brought back for review if the contractor selected is unable to deliver within a reasonable timescale or the price has increased between receipt of the quote and when the order is placed.  The second option is usually within your standing orders which will indicate the procedure to be followed for a rescission of a resolution.  The usual procedure (and yours may vary) should have involved the agenda item to rescind being clearly identified as such in the agenda.  Yours doesn't appear to suggest that but lets be honest, it still might be the case.  The final option might be simply that the "review" is actually a report on progress.
Agenda items should be clear exactly what decision is expected of councillors at the meeting but not every council's agenda and supporting papers are that clear (which is a whole different subject!).

Two weeks ago the minutes were approved and signed with amendments the clerk does not like the the amendments so wants to review the minutes so she can have them removed our standing orders only say a resolution shall not be revised with in six months or a letter signed be 5 councillors the meeting is tonight so some help please

Why not start by asking your clerk for the reasons?

The reason is the clerk sent a letter to a group in the village before Christmas in the minutes she states the council gave her permission to write,two week ago we amended the minutes and removed the words that the council gave her permission the vote to have the amendment by the council was all in favour she wa t the minutes to be put back to saying we did gave permission

This is getting a bit nonsensical.  I presume this is about a letter the clerk wrote to a yarn bomber and whether the council did or did not give permission for the clerk to send this letter?
The clerk does have delegated authority under the LGA 1972 to undertake the work of the council and this almost sounds like micro-management of the clerk.
Ultimately what does it matter if the clerk did or did not have express permission from the council to send this letter?  If I had to obtain permission for every letter and email that I send on council business, the council would grind to a halt.

The letter told the group to do something which we did not give permission for the group and a lot of the villagers were very up set by the letter

Agree with Mrs. A that this is nonsensical.  Clearly your clerk thought she was being instructed or authorised to write a letter but it appears she may have misunderstood.    It does make me wonder how your meetings are managed for such an important misunderstanding to have occurred.  Perhaps the chair needs to ensure that as each agenda item is concluded that there is a summary of what has been agreed before moving onto the next agenda item.
