At a recentley set up working party group one memeber has nominated a business for reprensentation at a council scheduled event and is leading this as a comittee Chair. Should they declare an interest as they have used this group at a other event and are closely associated.

As it is a working party it is only there to gather & examine the evidence on a particular council defined matter and bring their findings ( not decisions) back to council for decision making and examination of their findings. If a member of the working party should have or not declared an interest this is for the council to take that into account when they make their decision on the matter.

Thank you, for your very concise response. First point of attention will be at the committee that is chaired by the afore mentioned councillor.
