During workplace conversations and HR committee meetings the term "official contracts of employment" is quoted when referring to the Clerk and RFO employment contracts. The remainder of council staff are on normal contracts of employment.

Before I open a can of (HR) worms, can anyone explain the difference?
Is it just that the Clerk and RFO contracts were drafted using our ALC's templates?
Any information or thoughts much appreciated.

All contracts of employment are official, but some originate from more reliable sources than others.
