Would the Staff salary be published in the monthly accounts?

My question really relates to a PC that decides on a whim what to make confidential and what not to make confidential. I understand staff salaries although these would presumably have to be reported in the full accounts and disbursements every month?

Staff salaries would normally be reported as a single line. So all salaries summed up and recorded as 'September Salaries' rather than separate lines for J. Bloggs, A. Smith and J.Jones.

The majority of small parish councils employ only one member of staff, so it's obvious how much they are being paid, which I find quite helpful in my ongoing struggle to explain to councillors and residents why I'm not on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
