Help.... I made a mistake on the date for my agenda does this mean the meeting cannot go ahead?

School girl error I know, but has only just come to my attention, it would seem no one has noticed, or if they have they have not told me.

I am presuming that we will have to open it and close it straight away as incorrect or can I send an edited version out.  This is an Extra Ordinary Meeting.

Who called the meeting and could the error lead to confusion that might prevent someone from attending?

Did you as clerk call the meeting and sign the agenda

The meeting was called by the chair and I generated the agenda.  The mistake is the date on the front page says February instead of March, however the website and email to all has the correct date.  I can email out the revised front page to all but not sure if I am allowed to. Thank you

I would issue a corrected agenda and go ahead with the meeting as scheduled. Sometimes we have to take the pragmatic route.

You are not breaking any rules.  You are correcting a simple mistake - a mistake I've made too many times to remember.  Just acknowledge the error, apologise, correct it, and move on.
