How do we find out how many Councillors our PC should have?

Our PC currently has 7 Councillors, including Chair and Vice Chair. How can I find out if this is maximum number for our PC?

Your district council determines how many councillors you should have. Contact the elections officer or equivalent.

As Dave says check with the LA. There is no relevance of whether they are chair or vice chair they are only counted as councillors. The council votes whether they are chair of vice chair

Councils can carry out governance reviews which determine the number of Councillors required.  Ask your Ward Councillor to investigate when the next one is due
