45p for first 10,000 business miles in a tax year then 25p for each subsequent mile

For NI purposes 45p for all business miles

Why would a Parish/Town Council Clerk need to clock up  more than 10,000 business miles in a year!
No idea Graeme I just took this info from  Gov.uk
I checked that, but I can not see why our clerk paid herself 65p a mile....  Thanks Ann
Graeme - to distance themself from the council?!
